The Kitakule Foundation has been making significant progress towards opening a library and enrichment center branch in Nawangisa. The building that will house the library has been renovated and furnished in anticipation of the facility’s grand opening. This past May, the Kitakule family visited the Nawangisa branch to see the progression towards opening day and deliver scholastic supplies. Once the finishing touches are put on the interior and the shelves are filled, the library will be open to the community three days a week. The Nawangisa branch was one of the recipients of books donated to rural libraries in Uganda by Njuba in April 2025. We are very grateful for their contribution to our project and this community! The grounds of the library and enrichment center also feature a water well for community use.
